The magnificent Gliricidia Sepium tree!
In January, trees were planted in two schools, so Jemma and Festo visited the schools to see how the trees are doing. Despite some water logging (and animal nibbling!) a number of the trees at both schools have done well. This Gliricidia Sepium tree is ready to be pollarded now and is great as cattle fodder, cooking fuel and as a fertiliser tree. We’re excited to see the progress of these trees in the coming months and years!
